A Denton native, Amie branched out and moved to Missouri to attend college. After getting married, she and her husband settled in St. Petersburg, Florida before the Lone Star State called them home six years later. It was after returning to Texas that Amie also returned to her love for styling!

Transfixed by the beauty industry early on, Amie would visit her aunt at Toni & Guy Hair Academy and find a comfy place to sit and watch the students all day long. The impression proved to be a lasting one. By the time Amie was in high school, she started doing hair and makeup for anything and everything—friends’ Valentine’s banquets, proms, Christmas programs, and more! While working in youth ministry, she would also get her girls ready for their proms and homecomings and had a blast doing it. Her favorite thing was seeing how beautiful the girls felt after.
Since being welcomed to The Styling Stewardess crew, Amie is known for emphasizing eyes and crafting beautiful braided updos. When she’s not holding a hairbrush in her nimble fingers, Amie’s probably holding a paintbrush. An all-around creative type, she enjoys everything from painting and drawing to decorating and planning events.
