If you’re determined to achieve the best bronzing possible, a little time spent preparing your skin can go a long way. We recommend you exfoliate your skin a day or two before your appointment. It’s much easier for our artists to work their sunkissed wonders when our canvas is free of flakes.
It’s also important to take a day off from using any of your usual lotions, perfumes, or other beauty products. If you can, hold off on showering the day of your appointment. If you need to freshen up, rinsing off without products a few hours before is okay. For a natural tan, though, it’s best to come in your natural state. This helps our organic products do their thing without having to compete with any chemicals.
3.) MAINTAIN YOUR BEAUTIFUL BRONZE
Once you start to see your radiant results fully emerge a few hours after your appointment, there are several things you can do to sustain that sunkissed shade. Aside from using our tan extender, there are a few other ways to ensure that you get the most out of your glow. It’s best not to shower for the first 24 hours after your appointment. If going that long without a good wash isn’t an option, don’t worry. Go ahead and shower with a mild, PH-balanced cleanser. Avoid scrubbing your skin too hard and keep all your moisturizers oil-free.
